i need a new fan for my engine. my fan is stuck as if my car were constanlty at 4500rpm when im at idle and when i floor it it starts going to fast and starts to squeek and its robbing alot of ponies!! my car is a 1988 5.0liter thunderbird. sned me a PM if you have a fan and fan clutch you want to sell.
its ticking, knocking and today i floored it and started to burn out then all of a sudden my fan started to puch alot of air, even when i rev all i can hear is the fan!! and when i floor it in drive the fan starts pushing alot of air and starts to squeek at 4500 rpm and high. any ideas what is wrong now?
i need a selt belt for the drivers side but just the "female" part. and i need the control panel to control the unlocking and locking of the doors and i need a dash with NO crackes. thank you!!
it wont shift into 3rd gear until it is redlining for acouple seconds. i have lost acouple races because of that!! it just redlines for the longest time. when i pick my foot off the pedal and put it back down it shifts sometimes but it dogs out really bad, i didnt used to do that.
does anybody know anything about the ford bronco's 5.0? my neighbor is selling his motor but he doesnt know what type it is. is it a E6 SO, or a E7 HO? or is it totally different?
the RPM's bounce 1000 rpm when im in neutral and park, but when i put it in drive it asks normal. i got a new idel control and tps sensor but it didnt fix it.
will milling chambers down to 65cc be safe for a SO motor? and can i use 1.7 roller rockers with HO cam with SO pistons? i looked around but i couldnt find any threads. also, the HO cam has .444 lift right? i found a cam with .448/.472, does that mean i can run it at any lift between .448 and .472?
