Below in my sig click on my link to my motor picks if this guy can’t tell your spark plug angle he’s might not get the difference of an explorer intake. Just put on the stock plenum plate it bolts on and don’t paint it.

If you go w/ an explorer motor you’re going to wana change the cam. Keep it simple stay away from the p’s. But you’re going to have another problem nobody here put the p-head on the E6 motor there is a guy here that put the GT 40s on but didn’t mill.
My advice for an ultimate sleeper to beat your friend. Right of the bat your lighter then him so equal HP you win. He’s around 195hp. so you take an entire mustang E7 drive train motor and tranny and transplant. No hide it put on your stamp steel valve covers and plenum plate. Port the hell out of your exhaust manifold and that will restrict you the most of the 225 hp you should be getting. But unless he looks at you firing order he will never tell. And swaping a whole motor can be just as hard as doing heads especially if you might have clearance issues.

when a motor is built its blueprinted and hand built, crate engines well are on an assembly line but they do have a big name on it and reliable warranty, still nice.

I know those heads use a manifold that looks like a cut up and hacked up stock mustang headers. And with the angle of the plugs I don’t know. But like they stated above why waste your time. Money can’t be an issue there’s someone always giving away stock stang headers or for cheap same for the h-pipes,

gm cars have a different sound all together, I heard them w/ aftermarket s even the later model V6s. what do the guys w/the supercoupes run they had the 3.8 ford motor.

I agree back pressure is overrated as long as your exhaust system is complete you will be fine.

Yes I’m into guns but living here in New York (NYC metro area) I have to keep it to my self. But yea I have a few. People here just don’t understand I have a few friends into it with me the others I feel just need to be educated to enjoy it. I love the range I could shot paper all day, I am also a hunter and enjoy shooting tree stumps upstate. I have plenty of toys in the cabinet.
