The cables I am using are all 4 cyl. TC. Putting the TB there keeps them at stock length. Second, it acts to increase the plenum volume which is supposed to be a plus on a boosted engine. Third, it allows for a harder turn in the plenum immediately off the flipped intake to clear the hydro brakes.

Thanks guys!

I took it out for a little tuning since I got it together up to the seats now. I REALLY like having the new autotune with Tunerstudio. It worked better than I would have thought. After about 10 minutes of just driving around I had the fuel close enough to creep into a touch of boost.

I need video!!! I've been watching your build and cant wait for the pay off. When ever I need motivation I check your thread or what ever Vinnies working on. When ever I think about using the cougar as a donor for my ranger I check in on the forum and it motivates me. The forum has saved my Cougar more than once, Keep up the good work everyone. Oh by the way I love your under hood pic.

Yeah, It's a pretty good sleeper. I've tried to get a factory look in the engine bay.  Should cause some double takes.

I'm truly happy it is interesting for you. Keeping a good record here has been a pain at times, but mostly a fun experience. I rarely meet anyone with a clue about what I'm doing, so having you all to talk to about it helps to keep me going.

I was disappointed in how the seats looked. They look shabby next to the rest of the interior. I think I am going to look at the Summit seats and see if my butt fits  'em.
I'll see what the local jyards have, too. OH, and get a video. ;)

Looks pretty good.

I'm looking forward to trying out the autotune feature when I ever get the Scorpio on the road.

I've been wanting to swap to using TunerStudio on the TBird, but I'd read that there were sometimes issues when switching from MT to TS.  I'd almost rather leave "well enough" alone there.

I hadn't heard of the issues, but I haven't really kept up either.

I would think if you saved everything from MT and made a note of everything you could always go back.

The directory structure is new, and so is the feel, but in all it is worth the $30.00 for the autotune. I used to tap on the keyboard while driving and trying to watch the AFR at the same time. Not cool or effective.

You still need to be able to set up your base and idle by yourself, but once its running you are home free.

Nice.  I could use one of those in the Tbird, myself.

The car is coming together nicely.
