for what it's worth, i've seen BONE stock 302's with a home made single t3 turbo setup make 390 horse and 440 torque at the wheels.

No you havnt. There is no way in hell a 5.0 can breath through a T3. I maxed out a T3/T04B V-trim on a 2.3L...how do you think a 5.0 would do with a single T3?
It's Gumby's fault.

Alright kids.. no thread shiznitting..  I don't care what turbo did what.. I only care about the two I have ;)

Picked up my heads and lower intake today..

This intake is so very clean..

GT40P heads.  Off a very low mile 99 5.0

GT40P on the left.. E7 on the right.

GT40P on the right.

Yay GT40P :)  Look how clean this engine was.

4 lines on end of head.

GT40P on the right..

Oh and Sunday I'm going back to purchase the shortblock these heads cam off of *sigh*  I can't stop spending.  The engine was soooo clean..

You'll like the GT40Ps. They are very torquey and the pull good up high. Just have fun changing the plugs with the turbo headers;)

Actually it will be very easy.. The tubes go up instead of down so the plugs are exposed..

Are you running SD on your GT40P headed engine?

Ah then it will be ok:D

Yep I'm running SD and an aftermarket cam (Comp Magnum 266HR grind 35-308-8) Runs great. I just had to adjust the idle a bit and it runs fine.

Picked this up today.

*edit* The pictures make the dash look blue.. its not.

Perfect Raven TC dash fully loaded

Picked up an Explorer upper.

Here is the explorer shortblock that I will be running in N/A while I get the turbo setup complete.  I'm already thinking about selling off these two turbo's and getting a pair of T3's.

Did some mock up with my truck fuel rail.. This couldn't have worked out better.. The Explorer upper clears the rail where the stocker didn't

Had to tweak one of the tubes so it would miss the FPR.  I'm thinking about getting a earlier model truck rail so I can use three bolt FPR's, I'm limited to my selection of boost referencing FPR's now.

Well at the moment the 88 cougar is out of commission,  Its less work to put this engine in and do the conversion to get the 88 running..  And this TC is in far better shape..

Oh and I don't have a car right now so I've got to get this thing together soon!  I'll be bringing my T-5 and the car itself to my apartment this week and the engine will be going in SOON.
