do you have to absolutley have the MAF sencor? or can you get away with just the computerfrom a 89 mustang and 24# injectors? or out of a 89 lsc? :dunno: :brick:
the day after the new year my sister got in her car started it shifted and it wouldn't move.. we had it hauled to where we had the trans replaced with a refab at summit transmission, she gets it home today and complains about no acceleration what-so-ever so i check it out i hear a high pitched winding sound.... like bald tires on ice (we all know what that sounds like :disappoin ) so i tell my mom to take it out, she gets no farther than 3 minuetes away from the house..... she comes walking back to get my sister and i and we push the car back to the house, tranny shifts but in every gear all it does is wind it revvs it doesnt move they said they fixed it but i dont trust them..... what is the prognosis Dr. Fox?
okay heres the scoop..... foot all the way as hard as i can push it.... and still mooving.... pads are good just bleeded it..... blargh , what might be wrong? master cylender....? calipers?
my mom owns a 91 cougar with a 3.8 v6 and wed were driving it today and it veers to the left really bad, we had balljoints put in, tires are bald but fine.... its either struts or.... rack and pinion what do you think it is?
well heres the stoop.... i put some more brake fluid in my master cylender thinking it was low, and it was dreadfully low, i put some in pushed the brakes a few times with the car running then it goes to the floor.... i turn the car off, push the brake and hear a hissing noise and low and behold.... theres a pddle of brake fluid on the ground.... its behind the passenger back wheel, is there a temporary fix or do you absolutely have to put a brand new hard line in? J.B. Weld? hose and a series of clamps? im new to brake lines ive put new disks and poads on the front but the last time i was even around brake lines i was barely old enough to hold a wrench....
so does anyone have an idea what i can do? i dont have to drive it for a while so its no biggy i dont know where exactly the hole was i was just in a hurry today all i know is its behind the pass. R wheel
