Sorry, no dice yet.  I still need to finish up the orders for the folks who have paid for their mounts before I get back to the R&D on the new stuff.

They're coming though  :hick:

Let me get the batch of 2.3T mounts out the door and I'll get back to these.

Soooooo........

I've been busy boxing up the 2.3T mounts to get them out the door.  I should get the last of them out of the way over the weekend.  I still have a couple hours of welding on the Tbird cage so I can get it to the painter's too.  Depending on how things go I may get some time this weekend to get back to them.  I have been slammed to the wall for the past couple months now on the weekends.

Well, I'm glad you're planning on doing them - I found two non-ripped mounts to set the motor on to get it started. I guess I'm not in such a hurry now that I got the motor setting in the bay again... :flame: :giggle: :rollin:

Ok....the prototype driver side mount.  Just tacked together and needs welded, but here's a comparo..

Herb (cougarman) is going to be my "tester" and depending how things go (I need to make sure all my first articles and such jive before I send these away). I may be sending them off to him next week to get some feedback.  I'm going to let him beat on them for a bit before I go into "production"

Well, the passenger side is done as well.  I'm going to weld them up tomorrow and get a coat of paint on them and get them off to Herb.

As a related note.

Zinc plated (like the brackets on the bottom) or powder-coated?  Which might you folks prefer?  If they're powder-coated, I'll probably only offer a couple colors (perhaps a low-gloss black and a silver).

Yeah, I'll definitely be interested in a set.  Powdercoated black would be cool, but to be honest, I'd be most interested in whatver would be easiest to keep clean.
