For now the stock one is cool. Once I get it running and finish the brakes and suspension I wanted to spend my money on a 4" anderson ford motorsport powerpipe. Quote Selected

408 stroker project (For Sale 5/2018) Reply #95 – January 05, 2009, 06:46:50 PM EWWW! 81 days have past... I haven't had much time with work and the family on the holidays but I got some stuff done I installed the 8.8 3.27 rear, CHE rear control arms, rear mach1 springs, rear brakes and drums, hardware replaced, installed the driveshaft and shifter. Everything under the hood is done, just have to get a new battery I had to steal it for the wifes truck :) Things left on my list are: CC plates, 11" brakes, front springs, struts etc.. basically redo all the front . I'm currently working out a couple of issues. The hood not closing :(, the oil pan leak which I'll JB weld, and the steering knuckle ishiznitting the driver side header that I'll have to make a small 1/4" spacer for the motor mount. Hopefully I have this thing driving around the neighborhood by the end of the month, most likely with a hole in the hood till I can afford a hood :hick: Quote Selected

408 stroker project (For Sale 5/2018) Reply #102 – January 05, 2009, 08:10:37 PM I'm going to cut it open and get a cheap scoop for now. I can't see spending $500+ for a white primered hood that I can't paint the car this year yet anyway, unless I can find something used close by. This year will be all about getting it on the road and getting it to the track and cj09.. paint will have to wait till next year. Quote Selected
