Yea, I figure what's there to see down there. No sense in overdoing something you never see. and black fits into my color scheme anyway.. The AOD will stay silver to match other parts I have.

Not sure about the oil sensor though. I may connect it and see what happens when I get bored someday. but at least I have the option. Wasn't a bad score for $37. it's really heavy steel too.

My oil level sender has been great,even with the other engine.

While I had a couple hrs today, I decided to build this for all the parts that need to be cleaned up and repainted. I used all s so far.









needs a few more parts before I can test it out, I think I actually have everything I need to finish it too.

I've been blasting some stuff, it needs some tweaking, but it's working great, I installed an exhaust vent out the back of the shop for it now. It's totally dust free inside the shop area.

Should be ready to spray the bumpers and side trim by this weekend if everything goes well......

On another side note of useless info..... Today is my anniversary of joining here in 2007. Remember how un-cool it was around here before me. lol J/K :rollin:

I also decided to keep all the chrome and not black it out on the car. I will be painting the mirrors black, the same as the body though.

I'll tackle this next. it's still not bolted in


And everything is sanded and ready for painting, but I wasn't sure if it was going to rain, so I didn't want to push the 87 outside without door glass yet. If it's nice tomorrow, I'll push it out and paint the bumpers and other stuff. If not, the door handles and glass will be in by next weekend, so the car will be sealed, and it won't matter if it rains or not.
