Got the wiring harness out of the bird, going to degrease it, and were ready to start some serious rewiring here.








And yes, I will be installing mass air wiring. If I use it, it'll already be there.

ok, just got done washing the wiring harness. next is to inspect all the connectors and wires for damage and the infamous shrinking wire casing at the connectors.

Some times oil leaks are a good thing;)

You know now is the best time for the MAF conversion (which you are doing). You should try it with the harness in the car :hick:

Things are still moving along, but I'm to a point where pics won't show much progress.

Wiring has been checked and repaired. waiting for the mass air kit.
Everything is just hanging around to be installed. Probably install the lighting harness and swap what I need from the bird this weekend




In the meantime, I'm stripping down the bird and pulling out the wiring I need for the lighting package that it has and putting away any usable parts that I remove.



Also got a Full center console that is the right color for my 87.
The other one will go in the vert since it matches perfect in color.


Also got this for my 87. Time to start polishing.




I guess that's all that happened this week, besides the work on the pool.

We use a acid cleaner on the alum. wheels at work. I think it's called trailer bright. It would give you a big head start.
