Hmmm I wonder... Reply #120 – June 25, 2007, 06:13:57 PM Not sure about the hood now.... love the idea of it, its awesome but i dont like how the hood keeps goin up at a slant an never levels off semi flat at the back of the hood again. I personally think that it looks better when a cowl levels off at the back. Quote Selected

Hmmm I wonder... Reply #123 – June 25, 2007, 08:45:43 PM I like the slope of the hood (I never liked how cowl hoods flatten at the top), but I think it would look KILLER if you trimmed the top so the sides canted out at a 45-degree angle (I never liked how the sides came straight down, either). I think if it had slopes on all sides it would look awesome (especially since it's an 87/88, it would go with the car's lines). Quote Selected

Hmmm I wonder... Reply #127 – June 26, 2007, 01:00:35 PM daboss, did you even read that sentence before you hit 'post reply'? The English language is ****ed as it is, but you seem to be trying to reach a new level.*edit*Much better. Thank you. I get pretty tired of the garbage that floats around the net trying to pass itself off as a language; I hate to see it around sites I'm fond of. Quote Selected

Well back to working on the hood will post updates.Oops, I thought I read somewhere that you were 16.Neat project though. I guess mounting the supercharger on top of the engine is certainly one way to figure out the mounting setup since it's tight anywhere else.BTW, 2 questions, one of which I don't think you ever answered...1. What is that supercharger originally from?2. Where'd you get that idler you're running below the supercharger? Quote Selected
Hmmm I wonder... Reply #129 – June 26, 2007, 04:04:11 PM The supercharger is a Thunderbird Super Coupe Eaton unit. Quote Selected
Hmmm I wonder... Reply #130 – June 26, 2007, 04:08:26 PM Aerobid is correct the supercharger is a eaton m90 came out of a 90 cougar xr7. The idler's I do not know from what engine they are I got them at the jy they were already taken off. Quote Selected

Hmmm I wonder... Reply #133 – June 26, 2007, 05:39:52 PM I hate to bring this up, but do you antite problems with heat from the pipe heating up the hood too much (and the paint around the edges where it pokes through)? Quote Selected
Hmmm I wonder... Reply #134 – June 26, 2007, 06:03:58 PM The pipe from the sc does get hot but i dont think its enough to cause problems with the hood paint. Quote Selected
