Just curious but I don't see a mounting point on the carb linkage for the TV rod to your transmission. You say you have been having problems the tranny and that could be one of them. I think I've read in the manual that extended driving with that unhooked can ultimately damage it. Might be worth looking into.

Please tell me those wires aren't just twisted and taped together.I actually like making wiring harnesses (I'm sick that way),and it sure pays to do the wiring right.I use a solder gun,heat shrink,then i wrap it all up witha factory style tape.I like the plastic wire loom in moderation,but some people get a little carried away.Check any tuner car.It takes a while,but,do it right the first time and you don't have to go back and do it again a second time.Spend a day off from the mechanical side of this car building and do some wiring improvements.It doesn't cost much,and the looks and function can really make a huge difference.You really need to go the extra mile when you're doing your work.Doing the work half-a$$ed really shows.

Believe it or not, Vinnie, I've seen that car run with twisted-together bare wires.  It's not safe at all, I'm sure, but it ran... once upon a time.

had no time to pull off the flow tubes, had to much shiznit to do, went to see horses wasted half the day, drove back and forth for parts they didn't have ugh.

I welcomed the dark side and currently am driving a 2000 Dodge Durango SLT plus, with a 5.9, Code named project "Night Runner"
Shes black on black, fully loaded, with headers, 180 tstat, e fan, straight exhaust into a cherry bomb vortex ler, full tune up, ported intake and T/B, MSD coil, and round aircleaner.
Mods to come: Fully rebuilt and heavily modded 46RE, and a richmond rachet locker.

The wiring will be done right after the car starts and runs again. The tv rod isn't attached because I still have to hook it up. This is far from done, just what I got done today. Tomorow should clean this up ALOT more then I did today

Going to simple green the hell out of that montor some time next week. I know there is white paint somewhere under there. Might even clean the wheels and valve covers.

Got all the wiring cleaned up, teh sub and amp wired in, motor alittle cleaned up, center caps on.... waiting to scrounge up gas money and fire the beast

Scrounge money for gas?Don't you have a job?ALWAYS keep gas money aside.A cool car isn't any good if you can't drive it.LOL.

yup not only does it look exactly like mine notice how its round on the left and suddenly becomes horizontal. 7.5":D

Things for the future are edelbrock adapters to get the throttle and TV rod to work with the carb, and hopefuly a floor shifter soon. Then either a Mac H pipe or a Mac Prochamber, depends which gets here first.
