I think between Fila and I we don't have a Fox car that'll make that trip, he's still fighting with starter and fuel issues and my car is currently without suspension, but I've got an '05 Neon that we could take a cruise down in with no problems.

D'oh!  I just remembered I've been through your area before, so the trip should be an easy one.

Back from the dead....... I have ALOT of new mini project just waiting to go in. Just to list a few, Going to get new GT40 heads, have the Mac headers on, picked up a 3G and a turaus E fan, a new Amp, speaker wire, new head unit, and hopefuly a new set of wheels too

All but the first header. I need to re-do it but I broke 2 plugs when I dropped a header. it slipped out of my hand. oh well, they were cheap anyways. 2 plugs, gas, charge teh battery and it just may start. I'll re-do the one header the next nice day but for teh sake of the question, yeah they are in. I really don't plan on touching the car for a while, more getting all the stuff I need as opposed to doing a halfassed job without all I need

Good thinking !!! You know how I preach about that stuff.I'm waiting patiently for next Saturday,SALAGE YARD DAY !!!! WOO-HOO !!! I'm making a list for my needed pieces.My budget is tiny right now until I sell my extra parts.I'm getting what I can when I can.I saw a really nice set of '88 T-Bird taillights.I don't need them,but I'm getting them.Nice ones are getting harder and harder to find.May find a few more parts to sell.Keep on doing what you're doing.You'll get the old Bird done eventually.Or,at least more functional.They are never truly "done",are they?

Mini update/question. My stock compression with sucky heads is about 8.4 to one. What would that be with teh new GT40's? Would it bump it up and and will I HAVE to use 93 octain then?

I thought the GT40 heads lowered compression a little bit.Could be wrong,though.

Not debating it, but if the CC of the heads is smaller, wouldn't that raise it? Still, it's night and day ovwer the heads that are on it now
