Misc Tech / Leaded Fuel
I never insulted anyone here I was trying to help. I have know idea who you are or what you do just like most here. One day id like to go to cat jam to meet people here and see them and learn there real personality. Iv learned a lot about our cars from this site a loan.
Now you ask a brood question and I eliminated an easy answer that’s it. You just had to say that’s not it, and that you were aware of that, that’s it. Don’t treating to spam me and insult our stupid conversations, because that’s why where here to help each other and we enjoy our cars/common interest. period…

ok oldraven i can agree to a point that the uaw has the highest pay package with there hourly pay plus benifts totaling out over $70 bucks an hour per employee. but since i belong to a union myself and under diffent guidelines being construction heres what happens with us. there is a thing called pefaling wages witch all companys bid on for employees cost per employee at $36bucks. Now both union and nonunion companys bid this way now my pay per hour is 28 an hour then they break the rest down to pay for insurance, pension plan ,and union dues . the non union companys pay there employees starting at min.wages up to 20 an hour but dont give insurance or a retirement plan if they chose not to. meaning the company keeps the rest of the money to overpay there ceo's ,family's and freinds that never do anything.seen it happen. Now that i have said that if they do away with unions companys can and will go back to paying just min wages nomatter what kind of job it is no benifits or nothing. not saying unions are the best thing since sliced bread, but they do look out for employees.Yes i have worked non union and at one point owned my own busness witch i sold to many heating and air companys around here at the time. but i think the uaw needs to go with the times like the union i belong to and put a market recovery plan in there contracts to help out the companys during hard times. give a little to get a little later on. in these times everyone should work together but i know that wont happen.

This tread kinda got hijacked but its ok I agree w/ you. I am a former union carpenter. And present job has a union itself. So well said, I always agued in defend of union construction on how it was fare. You can’t pay a 40 year old man 20 dollars an hour cash and expect him to take care of a family. When I was 21 20 dollars an hour cash was great I didn’t need benefits’. But there is a bigger picture here.
The problem w/unions is some guys are protected at least this is how it was in the 90s it drove me nuts guys doing nothing and getting paid the same because they new someone or they were protected. I don’t think there’s too much of that anymore.

Anyway back to the corvette tread

Did anyone see the new Camaro in the Daytona 500

Welcome aboard buddy you found the right and best place for parts and help, even here in America these cars are Endangered Species. Most guys here have parts laying around or know of a part there willing to part with, so good luck.
And what motor is it 3.8 or 5.0 you didn’t state.
