We had high winds, lotsa rain and some snow/ice in SWPA last night.  Actually pretty calm right now but from what the news is saying we could get a couple more inches of rain.

Well thank the lord we had no trees come down on the shop building or our HOMES!!  I cant believe the LORD SPARED US. As the old growth is quite large. The shop is on backup Generator along with our HOMES. Their is no gas stations open as of today no power. But we have a back up supply of 100 Gallons for the generators. WOW WHAT A BAD NIGHT LAST NIGHT. Some people were not as lucky as us. A 150FOOT tree fell on my neighbors house and caved in the entire house, His kids were trapped and the fireman got them out early this morning. They are in the hospital doing fine. Thank the LORD. Be safe and god bless.

We had 4.75" of rain as of this morning. The wind was gusting pretty good most of the night. Only lost power for a total of an hour or so. We normally lose power for much longer. One of the neighbors trees fell accross our lane overnight. The township was out early this morning to cut it up. I believe things turned out better than first expected, in my area anyhow.

Overall it was pretty mild for this part of the state. Some powerful gusts, a bit of rain; nothing to write home about. Last year was much worse, Hurricane Irene left me without power for 11 days.

I hope the rest of you guys made it through okay.
