Running good. Going back to the ler shop tomorrow to patch my exhaust since I had to cut it to get the trans out. Also they welded in O2 bungs but the plugs they screwed n won't come out do I can thread my sensors in. I'll have them fix that too.

I also swapped the rear springs from a fox cougar and it sits about level now.

Nope. Im still working on keeping the column shifter.

But for the meantime, I have a March alternator tensioner arm as a shifter. LOL.

Sure did. It's only a 1-3/4" hole and the carpet is getting replaced anyways. Only temporary until I figured out the column linkages.

Hey....I did that with a Ranger one time.  Connected a rod directly tothe shift bar on the side of the tranny......had to feel the clicks to know what gear you were in!
1988 T-Bird Sport Coupe--5.0 HO, MAF swap, 1-5/8" shorties, BBK/Flowmaster exhaust, Explorer intake, 70mm Edelbrock TB, T5, B&M short throw, Centerforce clutch and PP, disc brake TC rear w/ 3.55's, TC front brakes, '98 Cobra springs, DIY SFC's, other misc .  14.05 @ 98mph with launching too low and shifting too high.

Picked up an 8.8" the other day and decided I would swap out the carrier and gears. This particular rear had 3.27 gears. Felt pretty tight, too.

I've got 3.55's and a 4-clutch packed carrier to go back in.
