The CP autox bird Reply #330 – April 02, 2013, 10:02:21 PM Not sure how I'm going to get a downpipe through here yet.And there is more room to the strut tower than I thought there would be which makes me HAPPY! Quote Selected

The CP autox bird Reply #332 – April 02, 2013, 10:53:48 PM Its and Esslinger D-port with the BoPort stage 3 porting with his 2.1 cam and solid roller conversion. It washiznitting the 8500rpm limiter last year fairly regularly. Quote Selected
The CP autox bird Reply #334 – April 06, 2013, 10:58:01 PM Intercooler pipe rerouted to turboManaged to get the exhaust through there. Not finished, but good enough till I get it on the lift.Had to redo the turbo intake too. Biggest problem was keeping the 52mm restrictor in there but its all in there and clearing. Just have to remake one breather tank hose.My biggest fun of the day was swapping out pedal assemblies to go from the TC hydraulic setup to the mustang cable clutch. What a PITA.I love how this u-joint says not for street use on it, lol Quote Selected

The CP autox bird Reply #338 – April 08, 2013, 11:16:08 PM Finally got it started tonight. Runs great on locked timing. Of course I'm going to have an issue with the commanded timing with the spout. As soon as I put the spout in, the timing jumps all over the place between about 10* before TDC to 25* ATDC. Even with this problem showing up, I can tell its going to be a screaming setup!I've been trying to upload a video to photobucket from last year running near or above 8000rpm for a lot of the run, but keeps screwing up. Going to try youtube later. Quote Selected

The CP autox bird Reply #340 – April 09, 2013, 10:35:52 PM Ok, got the timing fixed. Went to work on it at lunch and had a no start. Nothing like a broken signal wire from the tfi to start off with. Got that fixed, and then back to work. Thought about it all afternoon and then it dawned on me that when I finally got the megasquirt to actually control the timing, I couldn't set it with the spout out. Had to do it with the spout in, so now its running the way its supposed to. Also got all the coilover springs changed tonight. Just have to finish filling the coolant, and get it off the stands so I can finish the exhaust on the lift. Quote Selected
