Haha, I skipped to this page and was like "What the hell are you guys talkin about...there's no blue bird on my car!"  But meh, for now I'm just gonna keep the grille as-is.  I do want to keep some of the car's original personality.  I may change my mind later, but we'll see.

You know I actually like it the way it is. Too many people switch to the turbocoupe nose that its kinda getting worn out. I like the way you have your car looking, pretty sharp if you ask me.

Thanks :) .  I can agree about the TC nose too.  It hasnt been a fav thing of mine since I got into these cars.  Although it's grown on me, I still prefer my grille.

You know, I never thought about this until I ran into a wall. 19lb injectors may not be enough for that motor. With my gt40p headed/HO cammed engine, I'm completely out of fuel injector (near 100% DC) in the 4k rpm range, far from where I want the engine to run up to (5500). You may as well go 24lb before you finish it up. This is with a new fuel pump and 39psi fuel pressure at no vacuum.

You know I wish I had the ability to data log. I bet my car has the same problem if not worse as I have a bigger cam. If you go to 24s before I do let me know what the duty cycle ends up being. I'm just currious. I'll get that C&L MAF and 24lbr injectors soon, or when I have the spare cash :mullet:

kingcars the engine bay looks great. You know that if you need to replace the stickers/decals under the hood mustangsunlimited.com has 'em. That's what I used and they appear to be the same quality as the stock Ford ones.

if you have some free time, you could hide the wiring harness to clean up the engine bay even more!

Well after not really driving the Tbird since early February thanks to a blown lower intake gasket and this project really drawing near, I just decided to get the project finished already.  I've put in some serious hours on it this week (20-25 hours easily) and hope to have the engine in tomorrow and the tranny/exhaust in on Sunday.

It's a lot easier to install the engine and tranny as a unit.Stab it all right in there at once.

Really?  Even with the nose on?  We have use of a lift for when we go to put the tranny/driveshaft/exhaust in.
