I was only working on it for 1-1/2 hrs. on an average. sometimes it's only a 1/2 hour. I really don't spend a lot of time on it.
Removing the rear was the longest I worked on it since summer. about 2-1/2 hrs.

yep  i feeling your pain!
i know how what your going through. my 86 mustang drag car was in my shop on the 4 post hoist for 4 years after i pulled it into the shop just to service it. for the up coming race season of 2002.
casper been on the the same hoist  now going on now for 7 months and all i have done is pulled the255v-8 and tranny.
but couple months ago,i put the new long block 1987 302 roller  and tranny.
i have the dual 2 1/2 inch exhaust sitting on the floor for a month now.
the 8.8 in next bay waiting for me to finish welding the new lower brackets on for about 4 months.

it suck when you have a bad lower back and you can only play on the good days!
remember it easier to fix them, than to find them after they been crushed.

I'll start off today with some new parts.

and gently glide into this.
I got a 1st coat on. I've been busy as you can see.

Next  is another coat of paint, encapsulating inside the frame, torque box and upper spring mounts.
Then installing the battle boxes, before the rear gets installed.

Now it's starting to look like something. :D

Here you go. It's the cheapest place I can find it most of the time.
The PickelX that I use is there also.

that looks like muddy water your putting on there.  Any other color opitons?  Picky picky me,, paint over it i suppose.

On a side note and this day will come for you sooner than later .................  when you finally get around to wiring, make sure you remove paint for your grounds.  Use No-ox-ide compound on the ground connections. Prevents water intrusion plus it conducts.

Ill mail you some ,  pm me

And I thought black was stylish. Don't worry, the silver rear will break that up
Thanks , but I have the compound already. (bet you didn't expect that)

At this rate, you won't even have to paint the body. When you park the car somewhere, everyone will be looking underneath it anyway! :D

That's so funny, I was thinking the same thing as I was painting it, and it was looking so good under there.
