5.0 HO 306 roller block, machined GT-40P heads, Wiseco dished forged pistons, Eagle forged floating I-beam connecting rods, Lunati pushrods, ARP bolts, Scorpion aluminum 1.6 rockers, Comp Cams Magnum 266HR, Explorer intake, 65mm TB, MAF Conversion, 19# injectors, Ford Racing stainless P-headers, 2-1/2" cat-less exhaust w/ Flowtech Afterburner lers , SC AOD with 2800 BDR torque converter, 3.73 T-Lok rear, CHE rear control arms, full 2-1/2" frame w/1" jacking rails & seat supports, Rear disk brakes, Turbine wheels, All original interior w/ floor shift upgrade .......
Pretty much every panel on my 87 is new, rebuilt, or re constructed. :D

Finish putting it all together and just set it in the corner of the living room to look at.....it IS art....I wanted to do that with my GT40P engine but the boss....I mean my loving Gayle said "NO !!!" ( I think she meant it).

I have just started to accept the fact that I can't keep my engine as clean as I'd like,but,it sure is fun to drive.

Nice tires.I have 17's on my car,but,I ALWAYS liked the turbines and ten holes.With the right tires,the 15's can look REALLY nice. I see you got mail quicker than I though.Nice. Are you leaving the dip stick handle yellow? It sure beats welding up the other one.LOL.

Trade you my cobra's for your turbines!!  lol.  You've done a nice job with your tire sizes.  As I always say, white letters are also a good combo with turbines.

Red may just work. Why not? I think yellow was applied to them so they were easier to find for those who didn't know the engine at shops or owners who had no business under the hoods.

Ok, had to do some fixin..... I busted a line on the rack and had to remove it because.... of course it was the one you can't get to when it's installed.
Don't know if I should replace the lines, or replace the entire rack.

It's really nice to work on clean stuff under there. Still weird to not see rust. ;)

I'm still here. Just took a little longer to get back to the steering rack.
new lines all made, and rack installed. Did you know that you can't buy those lines on the rack? lol

After removing the old lines from the special threaded ends. I re-bent some new ones, and away we go. I guess I could straighten them a little more.




and I had to roll the car out today to get to the storage area above, so I took some pics of the new tires and the blacked out badges and stuff.

You did get a new PCV screen didn't you? LOL. Nice lines you made as well. My rack came with new ones installed.  The Cougar is looking great.Nice to see an update.It's been a while. How's the engine coming along? I've been wondering the status of the old girl.

Engine is still not together. Been working 7 days a week for the last month or so.
I did move it to the other side of the shop to start bolting it together. Brake lines are next while I'm still in the bending and flanging mode. lol (hopefully tomorrow)
