Depending on what camshaft I go with.  Right now I'm looking at a Trick Flow Stage 1, if I go with it I wont have to go with new springs.  Now I've been looking at a Stage 2 as well, If I go with it I'll have to get new springs..  Rockers are just not in the budget at the moment.

If you spin the motor to 6000 RPM or above with a TFS 1 (which you SHOULD) I'd get new springs......

Whats your opinion on Trick Flow valve springs?  They are a little over $130 bucks.

Yeah I have a .533 lift Comp 266HR cam and I had the machiene shop put in high lift Comp valve springs. I spin the thing to 5,500 some times and with the stock GT40P springs I'd get some valve float :hick:

They are a good piece, but there are (according to a few engine builders) even better ones out there.  I have the Trick Flow springs that came with the Twisted Wedge heads I have and they seem to be doing just fine.  Here's some good reading:

Well Jim came over today and we got the heads bolted down.. Used that fancy coper spray on them.. Very sticky stuff.  The intake is just sitting there because it looks pretty :)  Going to go find a pipe tap for the ACT sensor tomorrow.
