Well, a quick update. I spent the day today trying to get this thing at least started. After a stripped dipstick tube, dead battery, etc...I ended up with a bad starter. I will pick up a new mini on Monday. Still need to wire in the MSD and Boost-a-pump, but it should at least start. It's a ugly wiring mess right now, but once I hear it start, it should get me motivated.

IT'S ALIVE! I installed the new starter, primed for oil pressure, traced down a bad TFI unit and it ran for the first time since 1/07. I didn't run it too long...I still need to get some lines heat wrapped, the computer didn't like the 42lb injectors and I want my wideband hooked up. Great incentive to get this project going.

I can get a video once I get the PMS installed. It doesn't want to idle right now. These Borla XR1's are loud, I can't imagine them on a non-turbo car.

I'll get one of those big, publishers clearinghouse sized cardboard checks...the amount just won't be very big :D

Seriously though, the project looks amazing.  I can't wait to see the finished car.

I am getting excited to get this completed, well at least driveable. I got the wideband installed today, just need to permanently mount the gauge.

It looks a lot closer in those pics than it really is. Once I start refitting the front end, I will cut and refit the intercooler piping.
