2008 Thundercats Calendar - Now Available to Forum Members!

That's nice, but we aren't using shapes, generic line art or even silhouettes. We are using our own cars.

So I guess we can't have a calendar of clothed people because the clothes they are wearing bear Nike, Levi, Old Navy, symbols and those companies have rights to the shape of their clothing and symbols on them. I wonder how CafePress would respond to a 12-month calendar of our friends wearing no clothes to avoid trademark infringement.

My order hasn't been cancelled yet.

I called the CafePress content usage policy office and left a message. I'm sure other people here have already done it and people from those other car clubs have gone around with them in the past so...

What a goat-rope.

Can't do shiznit nowadays, everybody wanting to sue everybody else so nobody can do shiznit.

Pretty sad when you cant have a calendar made up, because you have a picture of your car on it... WTF, does ford think it owns all my pics of my car too, because I used a ford product in it?

Antonio, Do you have a Paypal account?

A simple solution may be to order the calendars yourself and sell them direct and not put them for sale in the Cafepress Store. I've never had a problem when I've uploaded pictures for items I myself was purchasing. A downside would be shipping costs. My latest was t-shirts with underhood pics of my stang. This one in particular:

As you can see, there are a few logos on it..... No issues with Cafepress however.

And Jeremy, that was the funniest thing I've read in months!!!

How about making another store and offering it while renaming it something blander. Thundercats is a copyrighted name, it may have been flagged when you put it up.
