I welcomed the dark side and currently am driving a 2000 Dodge Durango SLT plus, with a 5.9, Code named project "Night Runner"
Shes black on black, fully loaded, with headers, 180 tstat, e fan, straight exhaust into a cherry bomb vortex ler, full tune up, ported intake and T/B, MSD coil, and round aircleaner.
Mods to come: Fully rebuilt and heavily modded 46RE, and a richmond rachet locker.

Yeah, they were. I was intrested in getting it going before I dropped money into insurance and stuff for it. Why do all that for a brick. I have been in the prosess of getting everything done since mib febuary. Still haven't found the title and I'm having a duplicate title made ASAP. I'm not debating that I was wrong in doing so. I belive the spoken agreement between me and steve was I get the title when I graduate ( 13 days). He died before then. The car is still insured by him ( well his wife) and the title still is in his name. I think as of now the steak in my heart is no tags and getting lisence. Again, all coming very soon, Hopefuly before the end of the month


BTW I'm guessing how far it is.

I don't think you realize what a world of shiznit you would be in if you crashed the car in its current condition. And you've done far more than just drive it 200 ft to your house.

Again, I'm not debating that I have. Most of the times it's been out has been supervised by an offical of some sorts. I know I'm wrong. But what all can/need to be done to rite this.

Pretty simple. Keep the car off of public roads until you have a title, insurance, tag, and license.

I understand.  I'm not playing innocent. I'm admiting quite a few screw'sup in a very short amount of time. None of it really hit home till today. I've never " crusied" the car. Took it out to an open strech of road, ran it for 10 min's with an off duity cop there to supervise. Drove home. Or Drove to freinds house to do work then home. Not like I just go out and race it every day and try to get my self arrested. I very well could have been though.

Ok. I over reacted and ws pissed at alot of things when I should have been mad at myself. As much as I want this to be one big misunderstanding, it's untimatly my fualt. I'm my best to fix/rite the situation.

Now,wasn't that easy?You have to ask yourself,do you "react",or "repond" to a situation.Thinking can really do wonders for a guy.For the most part (yes,there are always exceptions,that's for another time),cops are doing their job.They don't make the laws,but they are paid to enforce them.I was a police officer for 2 years.I had to do a lot of things I may not have agreed with,but,the law stated I had to give tickets for violations,arrest people breaking certain laws,etc.The list goes on and on and on.you have to have priorities,and take care of business.As you get older,you'll learn a lot more that you only think you know now..I was just talking to a kid yesterday telling me he was a man because he ws 18.I told him being a man has NOTHING to do with age.It has everything to do with responsibilities,and doing what has to be done,whether it's convenient or not.Now,go get a title,insurance and a license (if you haven't already),then work on the car.

your still putting $ into a car that you don't own!
What is it now.. $450 just to purchase in the first place,
and what $300-400 more since? And without a title you don't own it.
 
That Javelin I talk about earlier in this thread, I had a bill of sale on that also, I wanted to get it running before getting the title cleared up ("Why do all that for a brick?") once I got it running something had happened (he moved away and I couldn’t find him was my issue if I recall correctly, 20 years ago.... although anything could happen to eather of you) and that bill of sale didn’t mean squat! The OWNER can petition for a lost title, not just any Gommer with a piece pf paper they "SAY" is a bill of sale from the owner.
 
Unless of coarse that bill of sale is Notarized.. yes?
