I'm getting decent gas mileage as well right now.We'll see what happens with the new engine.I hope to get the Sport to the dyno in the spring of next year.We'll see what happens then.Until then,the "seat of the pants" dyno will have to do after the install.

I must say great choice with the Ford blue lower. I really like the temporary valve covers. Almost more than the Cobra ones, almost ;)

Hey,I'm not too far behind you now.LOL.Brackets coming soon.i may just polish another 3G and install it along with the tensioner I got yesterday.

These valve covers will probably be finding a new home right after the engine swap.I like the look of them though.I'm still browsing for new valve covers.Just looking.I'm not sure if I want to use the Cobra covers or not at this moment.

Well,if everything works out,I should have a TC 8.8 with 3.73's next week.I'll be selling the disc parts from it and keeping my drum brakes.It's a lot easier for me that way.I have no interest in swapping brake lines,MC,and such right now.I have engine and interior to deal with.Plus,keeping the drums,I can swap the rear in about an hour or less.There's the new,boring news.

I did the same with mine Vinn. The only thing I had to do was get a set of mustang axels, I got a set of 92 Gt's. The abs gear made my wheels stick out too far, we even put the axles in from my 7.5 but they to stuck out too far. The mustang one pulled everything in perfectly. Of course depending on your back spacing you may not have a problem.

I'll use the axles and rear cover from the current differential.I drain the fluid,pull the axles,tie up the brake assemblies,unbolt them from the diff,and just drop the rear and reverse the process.No bleeding brakes,no worries.I am sure that my gas mileage will suffer a little,but,I am willing to live with it.Most all of my driving is right here in town anyway,and the added gear with the new engine can't hurt.
