Glad to hear she's running good.  everything looks good.  Well, everything except the wheels.  I don't like the tri-bars or the other triangle mustang wheel for that matter.  I guess I'm just a fan of the good 'ol fashioned 5-spoke.  Those things permanent?  Other than that though, the exhaust looks good blacked out like that.

Antonio, turn that boost up to 18psi. Youll have a little fun, and be suprised how different the car is. Itll sound so much different under boost, and when it spools, itll spool hard and probably startle you the first time.

Also, hop on ebay, get one of those cheapo cold air for a 5.0 mustang. With some tube tpuppies, and two 3" hump hoses trimmed down, you can make it fit rather nice and tight, and putting the filter in the fender makes a very suprising difference. Not to mention, if you think the turbo is loud now...youll have a pleasant suprise.
It's Gumby's fault.

Wow. I was not expecting that. Even at 10 psi it spools harder than before. Way harder. I didn't romp on it too much as my son was in the car, but  this thing flies now.

Now if I can just shake this fuel leak I'll be golden.

You think it pulls hard at 10psi? With a good fuel pump, nothing less than a 255lph high pressure pump, youll never run out of fuel potential. Im running 22psi out of a Precision SC50, and i dont have a single fuel issue.

Crank it up man, youll have a blast.

Shawn, what intercooler couplers and clamps are you running? Mine keep blowing off at 15psi. I need to put a lip on the compressor housing as well, but I have had enough of these.

Im using the stock upper, and a section of truck radiator hose for the lower. Im using regular worm gear clamps, but i use a 1/4" drive ratchet and 5/16's socket to tighten them. I tighten them untill theyre snug, and yeah, theyll deform a bit.

Well the fun is over. My fan died and I don't believe my boost gauge anymore. The more I unscrew the adjustment , the more pressure it reads. The turbo doesn't seem to be spooling as hard so I'm not sure what the problem is.

I got to call it a day, I'll check it out tomorrow.

Well I got bored at work so I went home early... well, earlier that usual. Went straight to work on the TC. The 255 pump is already in so all I just needed to do was tie up some loose ends and she fired right up. I thought for sure I screwed up the cam timing after taking the cam gear off a dozen or so times.

As soon as my fan motor shows up *cough* 84.... Fila *cough* and a few other odds and ends she'll be done.

Here's a pic.

Yay! She runs great. I think I even gained a pound of boost. But my lag has increased as well. So far, no more gas leaks after replacing the plastic lines. No more rubbing after pulling the fenders out. No more worrying about flipping a switch to turn the fan on. No more idle drop when turning the headlights on. One less fire hazard for me. About the only other negative is that I'm leaking oil out of the dipstick tube now. Guess I better order that catch can setup ASAP.
