General Fox T-Bird/Cougar Discussion / new member here. Hello
Quote from: deathbypsi;454777
I have a 96 Explorer 5.0,t5 and a 88 TC 8.8 with 3.27s. Im using a 90 Mustang mass air harness and ecm. Heads getting ported by "Scholdes" and I have a TFS stage 1 cam for it.
Your going to end up having to repin and rewire quite a bit trying to use the Explorer harness. Your best bet would be to try and find an 88 5.0 bird harness and add the mass air to it. Most of the rewiring you will have to do is for the dash, gages, AC, exc.

The Mach springs I have on my TC have the car alot lower than I really want the car sitting.
Let me know if any interest. My springs are still under the car.

From the 88 EVTM:
C232 Gray 8 pin connector.
C344 Black 4 pin connecter
Let me try and remember how this all goes. The green/purple wire that comes out of the drivers side must be routed over to the low pressure switch then to the WOT relay that is part of the V8 harness. From there it goes to the AC clutch. Just rememeber you need the diod/resistor that goes between the clutch + and -.
