The OFFICIAL Model Car Thread! Reply #126 – January 23, 2006, 07:30:09 PM Nice work 84 and 30th! Hey 84, try messing with your cameras settings, I think you have it on outdoor and too sensative, also quicken up your shutter speed a little. Then give us some more pics of that GOAT!And 30th, nice so far, but you have to finish them! (Like I'm one to talk...)And Sleeper, that SVO looks too cool not to finish!! Quote Selected
The OFFICIAL Model Car Thread! Reply #127 – January 23, 2006, 07:52:48 PM Hey 84,yeah it's the 49 by amt. It's just an older version.Actually,it's the second time at customizing the Merc. The first one wasn't done either and a co-worker made a deal that i couln't refuse. And Aero,You should see how many i havn't finished. My friends call me the rubberband man cause that's how most of them are held together. But here is one.Done back when they first came out.Stored it in a ziplock bag inside of the box.The box has been in the attack for a while(notice the bird sh*t). The OFFICIAL Model Car Thread! Reply #131 – January 23, 2006, 09:57:24 PM great detail paint in the engine compartment Demented.Does anyone have any tips or subjects for kit bashing? As an example:For those early mustang lovers a friend of mine once mixed a Revellgram Shelby GT350 with a Revellgram Thunderbird Supercoupe.Awsome outcome. He removed the engine compartment well from the Shelby,Trimmed the rear of the SC chasis and (if i remember correctly)a little of the SC interior tub and the whole SC chasis, drivetrain, and interior slid right in the Shelby's body.Add your own custom paint job and wheels.done.Sits nice and low,but not too low.Wish he still had it so i could post some pics. The OFFICIAL Model Car Thread! Reply #132 – January 24, 2006, 05:41:20 AM That TC is HOT. I like how you detailed the suspension (AL driveshaft, 8.8 Diff cover, Hothkis Bars, etc). That's one TC I would not mind owning in real life! Quote Selected
The OFFICIAL Model Car Thread! Reply #133 – January 24, 2006, 05:07:06 PM thanks guys. I also have the dreaded Fram oil filter on it ( only one that i could paint and look realistic) Also painted the Saleen Racing seats a Charcoal as to differ from the interior. I wish i would have lowered the suspension but i have 3 more to play with. Quote Selected
