Even these aren't invincible (really bad T-Bird accident with fatalies inside). September 16, 2005, 12:21:23 PM No matter how much steel you wrap yourself in, you're still only as safe as you drive. :disappoin Quote Selected

Re: We've got a fender bender here. Reply #3 – September 16, 2005, 12:36:00 PM Wow... how in the hell do you cut the car completely in half... as you said, WITHOUT damaging the hood. Quote Selected
Re: We've got a fender bender here. Reply #4 – September 16, 2005, 12:38:20 PM I'm going to hazard a guess that speed was a hefty factor. Quote Selected

Re: We've got a fender bender here. Reply #7 – September 16, 2005, 01:04:36 PM I started reading the artical and totally forgot about another lost T-bird. It puts it all in perspective, doesn't it? Quote Selected
Re: We've got a fender bender here. Reply #8 – September 16, 2005, 01:09:05 PM Certainly. I just read the article on the crash. After seeing the other photo, I'm amazed only one was killed.*edit* Just started the other one. Turns out the one in critical condition didn't make it either. Quote Selected
Re: We've got a fender bender here. Reply #9 – September 16, 2005, 01:11:55 PM Actually two where killed. The two who were in the front seats. One dead at the scene and the 15 year old driver died later. EDIT: you beat me to it. Quote Selected
Re: We've got a fender bender here. Reply #10 – September 16, 2005, 01:19:17 PM Maybe we can get this thread deleted. All of a sudden it's become more than a little innapropriate. I was looking for a picture of a T-bird door for the other thread, and found that image. No story attached to it. Quote Selected

It shows just how much fox bodies like to swap ends. A 200' skid at only 100kph (60mph). Another reason why I will never drive it in the winter. Splitting in half is scary enough. Quote Selected
