What specs are you looking for? If it's horsepower, prepare for disappointment: 155 horses from the "mighty" 5.0, 265 lb-ft of torque.
2015 Mustang GT Premium - 5.0, 6-speed, Guard Green - too much awesome for one car

1988 5.0 Thunderbird :birdsmily: SOLD SEPT 11 2010: TC front clip/hood ♣ Body & paint completed Oct 2007 ♣ 3.55 TC rear end and front brakes ♣ TC interior ♣ CHE rear control arms (adjustable lowers) ♣ 2001 Bullitt springs ♣ Energy suspension poly busings ♣ Kenne Brown subframe connectors ♣ CWE engine mounts ♣ Thundercat sequential turn signals ♣ Explorer overhead console (temp/compass display) ♣ 2.25" off-road dual exhaust ♣ T-5 transmission swap completed Jan 2009 ♣

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

2.73 or 3.08 gears, 7.5" rear end with an open carrier as standard, traction-lock as optional (Sport models have it standard), in '88 I think power windows, locks, and A/C were standard on 5.0 cars and optional on V6 models, virtually everything else was optional. Top speed is either 110 mph (180 km/hr) if you're lucky enough to have a speed limited model (most 88's are), or upwards of 140 if non speed limited. As Funky Cricket says, check out http://www.coolcats.net - what's good for Cougars is good for T-Birds for the most part...

Anything that fits a mustang engine will fit yours.
The hood you get 3 choices with the birds. Stock, TC, Cowl
