Marchal 750/759 fog lamps & covers NOS Reply #4 – June 01, 2015, 04:12:05 PM That price is about right for an unused set with covers. I saw a set still in the box with the wiring harness and switch on Ebay a couple of months ago. It was the actual Ford Motorsport kit you could get to retrofit a set to a car. $750.....I'm actually looking for the wire harness. You wouldn't happen to have one, would you? Quote Selected

Marchal 750/759 fog lamps & covers NOS Reply #6 – June 01, 2015, 08:38:16 PM Oh, I had that kit! Bought it at the all-Ford swap meet in Columbus, OH around 1990-ish. I want to say it was something like $125 back then. Used it on my first '84 Cougar with the ground effects kit. I had the 759 kit with the driving lights; loved the on/off switch. It was the perfect size to put in the console plate. What was interesting: that same exact 750 kit was produced for GM for use on misc. cars (J-cars, IIRC) and they had the GM logo on the covers. I saw that kit with my own two eyes...kinda made me do a double take. Quote Selected

Like you said, I think I have my set priced fair. Expensive for a driver but for the restored show car, they are just the ticket.Marchals were found on a bunch of cars, GM's Jeeps, etc. Quote Selected

Marchal 750/759 fog lamps & covers NOS Reply #9 – June 02, 2015, 04:36:19 PM The GM kit.......Looks the same. No one would notice. The white covers would look awesome on a light colored car....http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-SEV-Marchal-750-Fog-Lights-Lamp-Quartz-Halogen-Lamp-Assembly-/281705473157?hash=item4196f46485&vxp=mtr Quote Selected

Marchal 750/759 fog lamps & covers NOS Reply #11 – June 04, 2015, 12:27:04 PM Too bad there isn't a way to mount these on my Thunderbird and have them look good.... Quote Selected
Marchal 750/759 fog lamps & covers NOS Reply #12 – June 04, 2015, 12:33:37 PM You could use the mount pad from a 4 eye Mustang....Heat it up and bend it up in the middle slightly to follow the contour of the underside of the lower bumper..... You could install it upside down and flip the light housings.....I'll be honest though..... I'd find another way altogether. The only way I could see doing it to where they were installed sturdily would involve some cutting of the bumper. Not my cup of tea. Quote Selected
Marchal 750/759 fog lamps & covers NOS Reply #13 – June 04, 2015, 03:51:18 PM Do these type of fogs bolt up to 87/88 TCs and still look good? Quote Selected
Marchal 750/759 fog lamps & covers NOS Reply #14 – June 04, 2015, 05:18:48 PM IIRC the 87/88's came from the factory with Hella fog lamps. The bracketry is different and they are meant to mount within the bumper itself, which is TC specific. It DOES appear that the wire connectors are the same on both types. Quote Selected
