Marchal 750/759 fog lamps & covers NOS

Can deliver to Carlisle.  (Next year :hick:)

$400

Covers have just a slight amount of shelf wear if you view the in bright light at arms length.  Probably not noticeable when on the car.

Lamps are VERY nice.

Also have some used sets, PM me if you want info on them.

No obligation if you decide you don't want them when you see them.

Thanks, yes these lamps are sweet! Priced fair if you watch what NOS stuff is going for. Of course if you are patience you might find a bargain out there somewhere.  I have 2 pairs I'll be keeping, :hick: just offering up some of the extras I have collected over the years.

I'll list the used lamps when I get a chance.

That price is about right for an unused set with covers.

I saw a set still in the box with the wiring harness and switch on Ebay a couple of months ago.  It was the actual Ford Motorsport kit you could get to retrofit a set to a car.

$750.....

I'm actually looking for the wire harness.  You wouldn't happen to have one, would you?

Or did they have the Marchal logo and word?

Oh, I had that kit! Bought it at the all-Ford swap meet in Columbus, OH around 1990-ish. I want to say it was something like $125 back then. Used it on my first '84 Cougar with the ground effects kit. I had the 759 kit with the driving lights; loved the on/off switch. It was the perfect size to put in the console plate.

What was interesting: that same exact 750 kit was produced for GM for use on misc. cars (J-cars, IIRC) and they had the GM logo on the covers. I saw that kit with my own two eyes...kinda made me do a double take.

No I don't think I ever pulled the whole harness, just some connectors.

Yea some asking prices on ebay are in the stratosphere!  Like you said, I think I have my set priced fair. Expensive for a driver but for the restored show car, they are just the ticket.

Marchals were found on a bunch of cars, GM's Jeeps, etc.

It appears it was that kit.  The seller said it had never been opened.

The GM kit.......

Looks the same.  No one would notice.  The white covers would look awesome on a light colored car....

Too bad there isn't a way to mount these on my Thunderbird and have them look good....

You could use the mount pad from a 4 eye Mustang....

Heat it up and bend it up in the middle slightly to follow the contour of the underside of the lower bumper.....  You could install it upside down and flip the light housings.....

I'll be honest though.....  I'd find another way altogether.  The only way I could see doing it to where they were installed sturdily would involve some cutting of the bumper.  Not my cup of tea.

Do these type of fogs bolt up to 87/88 TCs and still look good?

IIRC the 87/88's came from the factory with Hella fog lamps.  The bracketry is different and they are meant to mount within the bumper itself, which is TC specific.

It DOES appear that the wire connectors are the same on both types.
