If I had a turbo V8, I'd stick the battery on the roof if I had too!!  ;)

From the Original Post it seems so. That motor is doomed a quick fate haha. A turbo'd 5.0 is a really cool idea, but no one ever seems to pull it off quite right. I want a roots style blower for mine. I love the sound of a turbo spooling, but the whine of a supercharger is soooo shagy!

Me too, I really want a Kenny Bell. They're $3K. After I get the exhaust, TB, and rearend done I'm going to start saving for a blower.

he'll be safe if he keeps the boost semi-low (low to my standards at least.. about 6-8psi).. depending on what is actually done, it should push around 425-475hp, making it less pr0ne to die a quick death.. notice i said quick, it'll still be short lived lol

I would love a Kenne Bell. Problem is, even after all the suspension work I'm doing, I still have around $10k to put into the motor I'm building. Yes I said $10K, and yes I said the motor I'm building. Haha.

I've got Caster/Camber Plates, CHE Control Arms, Rear Gears and Trac-Lok, Subframe Connectors, Pinch Weld Braces, E-Brake Cable, Rear Disc Conversion, and 5 lug Conversion to all get done. I have alot of the parts, just gotta get them all installed.

that's an easy number to hit when you have the resources and knowledge to build a top notch motor.. if it wasn't for my tax id number and the ability to buy direct or from a wholesaler, i'd have roughly $6500 into my 408 in my capri, not including the cost of the dart block.. luckily i got my block DIRT cheap used from a local machine shop and roughly $41-4300 in parts for the rest of it.. i really wish i would have bought clevland head for it though.. maybe when i re-open the shop and start making bank again :)
