Since you're going to restore it close to factory spec are you going to go really crazy and try to replicate the factory inspection marks? I've been trying to figure out where they were for years. My bone stock 1983 Heritage lives again......... Reply #49 – April 29, 2012, 08:56:56 PM Busy day today........i pulled my replacement front seats from storage and cleaned and conditioned the leather. I plan to pull the seats from the car and replace soon, as well as shampoo the hell out of the carpet. Here are a few pics of the replacement seats after i finished them today. Then a few of the ones in the car. I paid $75 including shipping for the pair, and they were mis-listed as 86 seats and no one had bid on them. It was also a no reserve auction and mine was the only bid. That was around 5 years ago. Quote Selected

My bone stock 1983 Heritage lives again......... Reply #51 – April 29, 2012, 10:43:05 PM Wow, with shipping charges the way they are today, the seller probably would have paid more than $75 just for shipping. That's better than a good deal, I think you stole them. Quote Selected

The seller definitely lost money on that deal. yes, he was not a happy man.......turns out that he mis-listed the seats as 1986 seats, and these are specific to 83/84 only. I saw the pics and emailed him asking if the items in the photo were the same being offered for sale. I got a one word reply... "yes". The rest is history...... Quote Selected
