Hmm.... will need to see if i can improve this

Will swap the tyres over to 225's and get the guards lipped.
not sure i have many options to bring the wheels in closer being an 83?

car sitting on an awkward angle, but i like it :D

I am not saying fordguy454 is wrong, but I would measure your frt control arms. My 85 turbo coupe has the 14" length frt control arms. Measure from the center point of the frt and rear mounting bolts to the center of the ball joint. It can't hurt to check.

Those wheels look sweet on it! Actually, I learned something about the front suspensions in these cars within the past week or so. If you manage to find an 87/88 K-member, and use your current control arms, you will end up with the suspension setup I have and gain 3/4" of room on either side.

mmm... don't like my chances of finding one of those locally.
wonder how bad shipping would be...

would probably also need to check if any modifications were done to the existing one with the RHD conversion with regards to the steering rack used.
still nice to know there are options!

got narrower tyres, started rolling the guards.

only to realise my rear brake line (flex line between the body and diff) was cracked near the mount point.

so i've had to pull that off again to get a replacement.

I think the exhaust must have hit it where it goes over the diff.

Club had a display @ the V8 Supercars over the weekend.
