BBK or Hooker, get them for a fox body mustang. You'll have to run a floor shifter if you're using a auto. You'll be fine if you're using a manual.

Why 1 5/8 when you can have a 1 3/4 or even 1 7/8 if you ever go boosted or big heads and cam a 408 loves to breathe. I have a 351 with bbk's 1 5/8 shoties?

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

I'm pretty sure they don't make a 351 swap LT header any smaller than 1 5/8"

reason for 1 5/8 is the small trick flow heads 170 I'm using its a coast high 408 pro street with 10.5/1 compression so I don't think I would need any bigger for this year. hopefully 100 or 150 shot of nitrous will make up for it at the track

I was looking at a rpm air gap intake and to match the in flow I was told I need 1 7/8 primaries ? and I would love a set of stainless steel once and done.

I had the 1-1/2" Headmans when I converted my car over to a T-5 in '93.  With the stock CFI on the 5.0 and 2-1/4" dual exhaust is was a pretty good setup for the stock motor.  Getting the bolts in and out of the header  was a breeze and the plug wires had plenty of room too.
