Unfortunately I never got a chance to run it in the 1/4 but as soon as I get the 5 speed in and the track opens back up next year, I'm hoping to run some high 15's, maybe 16's.

high 16's at best with an auto.. a few years ago a buddy of mine had a 96 cougar with a 3.8 that i did a massive amount of work to in order to get it to run 15 flat and high 14's with 3.73's.. it all made a huge difference when we bolted an SC charger to it though.. ran low 13's without any other work

You're not talking about Gainsville are you?

There's an 1/8 mile track not too far from me, and of course there's the 1/4 in bradenton...but I'm pretty sure they're open year round.

Idk if its got anything to do with it being an official NHRA track...and right after they open back up every year they host GatorNationals...

...which, believe me, is still plenty of oppurtunity to run in the cold. FL's all f ed up we get winter late ..its cold here till like april but it don't get cold till the end of november:wtf:

HAH!! yeah, my wife gets cold under 70. No I'm serious.

Me? I'm a florida outcast. I'm actually from GA:D  I love when it gets cold. 45-60 is AWESOME!! And hell anything above 50 is t-shirt weather. Under ~45* the cold really starts to lose its appeal but hell I don't put a jacket on till its at least -35*. I do enjoy the long sleeves shirts though:D
