hmm nice idea distributorless ignition BUT!
i'm not saying you did'nt know this i just figured i would remind you be for you fire up that motor with out the factory distributor.. ;)

you better get an distributorless ignition gear and shaft adapter or a modified factory distributor to run the oil pump. or it wont run for long ;)

Don't worry, it's in there! All that stuff came from the 98 Explorer donor.

Mine was a work horse for 21 years.....Had to let it go. It was either rebuild it, or replace it....I went with the replace option, since I had an entire parts car, with everything I needed for the swap..
I will really miss this little V6....I used to spin that tire with it all the time.

I can vaguely remember back to the V-6 years.

Amen. Me too. Not that a stock 5.0 is much much better, but at least it's a little more reliable.-I'm talking about my motor, lol.

That looks great 347thunder.  Moving the battery to the back frees up a ton of room.  I think that will make a nice summer project for me.  Is that cover for the coil aftermarket or did you make it?
