Kitz, what's stopping the pipe from going up on the right? I had to bend up the corner of my gas tank, but it all fit. My tails are mandrel bent 2 1/2 inch Stang pipes.

I only have about 1/4" clearance to the frame on the hump over the axle. I can probably do it I just haven't had the time to really mess with it this year, since I spent more time painting it twice.

Yeah, with the new paint, leave it alone. Don't wanna mes up a good thing. I'm probably having the Sport repainted in a year. Same color, but i have some subtle body changes I'm going to do.

yeah I considered double barrel tips as a second choice but I like the rectangles better. I think they flow better with you're, the Vinnie,'s most infamous, "natural lines of the car" much better.:shakeass:

I can't "most infamous" by any means. It's just built to my own personal taste. Plus, the round tips fit the rear of the car's look and the round lights when they're lit up. Crazy thinking, but there's a method to my madness.

No tips on the 83 just 3" mandrel bent LX Mustang style pipes.  A buddy's family owned an exhaust shop for years and he extended the Mustang pipes so they went to the back of the car.  I think it was about 8" or so.  I have a shot of them when they were painted with hi-temp silver from the side but not the back.  The only picture I have access to right now is this one from about ten years ago.  I was on my way to the 1999 World Ford Challenge from Ennis, TX when my buddy took that picture.

They are now HPC coated but not on the car as of yet...still waiting on the headers to get built.  I do like how Vinnie's look but I have a hard time cutting on my car, my dad bought it new so its very near and dear to my heart.  I have done a couple of things I wish I would not have done and those are getting corrected on this rebuild.
