Show me your TIPS.

I'm getting ready to put all new exhaust on my car from the headers back. I'm not quit sure how I want the duels run out the back. I would appreciate if you guys could post pics of your exhaust tips, preferably shots from underneath the car.

Here's mine, sorry it isn't from below. They come straight back, over the axle, and under the bumper, lers before the axle.

P.S. Trailer hitch is long gone, pipes are 2.25" each. Hope that helps.

i don't have any pics, but when i did the exhaust on my bird and cougar, i angled them out at the corners of the bumper.. in my opinion, it looked better than the typical straight out the back

I had to cut the bumper, bumper support, and cover. I also had to modify the pipes to be raised a few inches to accommodate the move. It started with my last Bird. My driveway has a raise to it when you pull in before it levels out,and I used to drag the pipes,so,the tips were done more as a necessity than for the look. On the Sport,it was done for both from the start. I drew a LOT of ideas out on paper, figured out which look I wanted, then spent a LOT of time looking for just the right tips. These are chrome plated, double walled stainless tips with an angle cut.Sweeeeet.

I started with angle cut, rolled edged tips on the last Bird, then on the Sport, she started with the angle cut round tips, then went to Rectangular angle cut Australian Ford falcon tips. I ALWAYS use either rolled edges or double walled tips. I alsways thought the single wall tips look as though they were never finished.Just cut, chromed and sold.I like them "finished".

Not long after I got the Sport. These are the Australian tips. I loved them in the box,but never really got used to them on the Sport. They never looked right to me. This is not long after I got the Sport running....she was a really homely looking girl. Glad she grew out of it.LOL....

The other Bird back in 2006. You can see the round angle cut tips. I like those. The car,she was a b#@%h. ALWAYS giving me some sort of issue,no matter how good I treated that car,it would dump on me. Great engine, but the car was possessed. Glad it's gone.......

i had these on both of mine, angled out of the corners of the bumpers.. i liked the look of them black against the black bumper, as i'm not really a chrome fan.. but my idea is basically a mix between mine and yours.. cut the corners and raise the tips into the cutouts
