Turbo Coupe exhaust. What exhausts are best?

Im gettin ready to do the exhaust on my 88 turbo coupe and i am wonderin what everyone is doin.  i want to ditch my converter for starters and i know i want dual's for sure.  Ive seen stingers exhaust systems for sale. Is anyone running that?

I run 2.5 back to a hooker aero chamber ler with a turn dom just before the rear

no matter what ler you go with , make sure its a blow thu and not a baffle style.

flow masters are a no no for turbo apps

I prefer a single 3", with a tail pipe.

I've got a Stinger tail pipe, but I needed to make a couple adjustments to it for my set-up, as well as add a tip to extend it to the bumper.

simple, baffles rob you of HP, by causing back pressure, they slow the spool time of the turbo

Its a more than well known fact that baffled lers are the worst thing you can put on a turbo car. You might *think* you've seen no ill effects until you take them off or put good lers on.

Oh and flowmasters are usually the worst in flow tests.

Ironic, huh?

One question, do 4 cylinder cars really benefit much from dual exhaust? It seems kinda unnecessary to separate the exhaust after the manifold. It makes sense to have dual exhaust on a V engine, but on an inline it seems like it wouldn't be improving much. A larger, single exhaust seems like it would be better.

you get more restriction  with duals than you do with a good single exhaust, more surface area that the exhaust has to pass over.

2 2inch exhaust pipes have more surface area on the inside than a single 3 inch would have

but the 87/88 tc came from the factory with it, it was split after the cat.

My understanding is Stinger's single 3 inch pipe is the best flowing option, it is also cheaper and lighter than splitting it into the 2.5 duals.
