The CP autox bird Reply #271 – December 06, 2011, 12:07:26 AM Not allowed to change the kmember. If I did, they technically call it a tube chassis car and add 350# to your minimum weight. The filter will eventually be changed. I don't see it being a real big problem myself. Quote Selected
The CP autox bird Reply #272 – December 30, 2011, 06:40:21 PM I will have pics of my latest endeavors with this project tomorrow. Made a spoiler fitting the class rules(max 10" height) and made it out of 1/4" lexan(found a place up in toledo called Seeger Metals & Plastics - I would recommend them!). I pretty much have it done, I just need to come up with some more bolts/rivets and paint the hinges. Although I would give the longacre spoiler supports 3 out of 4 stars because the 4th one broke before I even put it on. Stupid aluminum threads galled and I almost could've broken that thing by hand  I'll have to order another one of those to replace it so I'm a bit annoyed about that.I also bought a full set of koni double adjustable shocks/struts and the coilover kits for them, so hopefully I can get this car driving even better next year  Quote Selected

The CP autox bird Reply #275 – December 30, 2011, 06:48:21 PM people say it should make around 150# of downforce or so. Quote Selected
The CP autox bird Reply #276 – December 31, 2011, 10:57:37 AM Wow, cool stuff. I really like those Konis! Quote Selected
The CP autox bird Reply #277 – December 31, 2011, 08:22:08 PM Koni's are NOT CHEAP! I have right at $2K between the konis and coilover kits. All I can hope is they make me a bunch faster since I was using mismatched bilstiens before. Bilstien hd's on the front and maximum motorsports sport valved bilstiens on the rear. Quote Selected

The CP autox bird Reply #279 – January 04, 2012, 09:44:26 PM Finally got this spoiler completely done. I'm having a lack of motivation this year  But I think this spoiler turned out pretty sweet!I think I have the spoiler at about a 70* angle and hopefully will make some downforce  Quote Selected
The CP autox bird Reply #281 – January 04, 2012, 10:00:14 PM yeah, it can be moved some. Not alot, but it is adjustable, lol. It could probably come back about 1/2 way to straightening the pinstripe where its going up. Quote Selected
