The CP autox bird Reply #135 – March 24, 2011, 11:15:56 PM suspension is almost all together. I did change my mind on some things on the engine though. I'm just going to go ahead and use the E6 manifold instead of the ATR header. I don't have time to keep screwing with that ATR. Quote Selected

The CP autox bird Reply #139 – March 25, 2011, 08:46:55 PM PITA to get any bolts in! And with my track record of blowing head gaskets, I don't want to deal with it. Quote Selected

The CP autox bird Reply #142 – March 26, 2011, 06:10:54 PM I do plan on building another header next winter anyway, so I can get by with a ported e6 for now. I did fix the atr, but at this point I think I'm going to put it up for sale. Quote Selected
The CP autox bird Reply #143 – March 27, 2011, 06:09:28 PM Got the engine partway there. Got new bearings spun in, and the head on, Cam swapped out, but I need to order new lifters with modified housings so they will get oil correctly  Quote Selected

That combo screams for a T3/T04E .50 stage 3 or a Holset HX35!I really am a fan of a fairly stock build with a little cam and those turbo's. Of course autocross might work better with less punch at boost onset from a smaller compressor wheel. Quote Selected
The CP autox bird Reply #147 – March 27, 2011, 08:03:48 PM at this point its a stock .48 T3. It might get a holset next winter, but at this point there just isnt enough done to the head to support the holset. I thought about a ebay turbo with a rebuild right off the bat, but thats something that can happen later also. I should be able to get plenty of boost right off the bat to get out of corners where my other car always struggled. I havent been able to make heads or tails out of compressor maps so that makes figuring out turbos a little difficult. Quote Selected

I just put valve springs and a Stinger header and got 288 HP and 322 TQ with engine management and a Porsche intercooler on pump gas.Your turbo will work great for autocross. Mine was to laggy for that. Good at the drags, though! Quote Selected
