Matt's model car thread....is back!!

So seeing as I havent worked in a week I pulled some of the old models out and got some work done.

Long time project got some upgrades and details. Its the old 1024ci twin blown fox. and by the way still cant deside on paint for this one, any input will be taken in to consideration.






and while I'm still on the subject of rediculus, this one was just a goofing around one day turned in to a wow i dig it, kinda project.

and lastly, one for my lady. No really I'm building this for my girlfriend, So she can put it on her desk at work. It's going o be done up as what her car will look like after we do the paint and body.

your models are sweet! wish i was that good. heres what i made look like a local hometown street stock race car from a dale earnhardt monte carlo, i wanted the "raced" look.

My 1/25 Revell Daytona Charger.I opened and hinged the doors and trunk,and made the headlight buckets functional.The seats tilt forward and the steering is poseable.I widened the wheels and tires for the look I wanted.The tail light assembly started as two lights (as the '69 Charger has),and I made it into one long assembly........







'88 Sport--T-5,MGW shifter,Trick Flow R intake,Ed Curtis cam,Trick Flow heads,Scorpion rockers,75mm Accufab t-body,3G,mini starter,Taurus fan,BBK long tube headers,O/R H-Pipe, Flowamaster Super 44's, deep and deeper Cobra R wheels, Mass Air and 24's,8.8 with 3.73's,140 mph speedo,Mach 1 chin spoiler,SN-95 springs,CHE control arms,aluminum drive shaft and a lot more..

oh man, SUH-WEET!  ED nice work guys.  heres some of my old stuff.  havent touched one in years, gonan try one this winter.  boguth a work desk for the computer room, just need a new hose for my airbrush air compressor.

ZZ Top Ford with 89 Supercoupe drivetrain.


Twin 57 Fords.  The Fairlane is an AMT kit, the Ranchero a Revell kit.


89S/C with 427 ford motor.  Figured lets really make it a super coupe!


7 liter Galaxie.  Black pearl with black/red interior.



AMC Rebel Machine with Monogram Ricky Smith Pro Stock T-Bird drivetain and wheels/tires.

AND MORE!  LOL!

MPC Cobra II.  These are cool as they come with a pro stock cleveland motor.  or did i put that in there?? Base white with a couple Pearl clear cotas then a plaon clear coat on top of that.  Ferrari wheels from some puppiesanese Ferrari kit.



Bandit T/A which I built a million of.  Love this car.  This was actually a first run of the model kits, no gold parts but instructions on how to make them gold, already cut out t tops, 4 speed instead of automatic and german style trans am decals instead of the "double line" type letters.



69 427 425HP Vette roadster.  I'm a Ford guy thru and thru but i have a thing for this model Corvette.



Pantera with some gold misted over the black paint.

Dang... We just packed up all of mine so they'll have to wait until we are all set up in Tennessee.

No way.Putting a color like that on a real car would be ridiculous.LOL.
