I bit the bullet

Since I've never seen a bird with the 7spoke coibra wheels, and I thought they'd look pretty good, I went ahead an got em.  The chrome ones were the only ones they had in stock, which is good because the black or anthricite ones just didnt look right - no lip to speak of being a 17x9 lol.  Anyways pics so other people can see fitment on a bird.  BTW: 17x9 with 20mm offset

I'm going to have to take my camera apart to clean the inside of the lens so the white spots will go away:mad:  But for tires, It will be getting 275/40/17 hoosier A6's or spoogeho V710's on all 4 corners.  Should only take a 1/4 - 3/8" spacer on the front:D

I still gotta order the tires.  I just wanted to make sure they fit before I ordered tires.  Thought maybe it would need an inch spacer or so, but no need for that.

dad:

Ranger is a former drag truck, and the engine is corked down to about 600hp.  Uncorked, its about 900 or so.  Truck went 10.0002 @ 138 in the 1/4

They will probably look good when they have tires but I liked the Snowflakes. Hell I just mounted mine :D

snowflakes will still be my everyday wheels.  Who knows, I may end up getting a second set of these or something.  That'll wait a while, lol
I also spent last night taking my camera apart to clean the lenses.  Those were some of the tiniest screws I've ever had to deal with

Tires are mounted.  I will retest fit them tomorrow at lunch.  Got about an inch more contact patch than my old hoosier's.  BTW: dont let these wheelshiznit ANYTHING.  Barely touched one agaist a curb while rolling them back out to the truck to take em home after being mounted, and it really dinged up a spoke :(  I thought it just hit the outside edges

Old autox tires compared to new ones(245/50/15's compared to 275/40/17's)

And I can still get my fingers between the tire and the strut in the front.  Its tight, but I can still get em in there
