I bit the bullet May 19, 2009, 06:57:19 PM Since I've never seen a bird with the 7spoke coibra wheels, and I thought they'd look pretty good, I went ahead an got em. The chrome ones were the only ones they had in stock, which is good because the black or anthricite ones just didnt look right - no lip to speak of being a 17x9 lol. Anyways pics so other people can see fitment on a bird. BTW: 17x9 with 20mm offsetI'm going to have to take my camera apart to clean the inside of the lens so the white spots will go away:mad: But for tires, It will be getting 275/40/17 hoosier A6's or spoogeho V710's on all 4 corners. Should only take a 1/4 - 3/8" spacer on the front:D Quote Selected

I bit the bullet Reply #4 – May 19, 2009, 07:28:09 PM I still gotta order the tires. I just wanted to make sure they fit before I ordered tires. Thought maybe it would need an inch spacer or so, but no need for that. Quote Selected
I bit the bullet Reply #5 – May 19, 2009, 07:32:42 PM Very Nice !!! Those look great on your Bird.I saw a similar set with 4 lug,and they were 17x9 for the front, and 17x10 for the rear.I REALLY need them.I may sell my chrome Cobra R wheels and get them. Quote Selected

I bit the bullet Reply #11 – May 20, 2009, 09:16:05 PM They will probably look good when they have tires but I liked the Snowflakes. Hell I just mounted mine :D Quote Selected
I bit the bullet Reply #12 – May 20, 2009, 11:14:34 PM snowflakes will still be my everyday wheels. Who knows, I may end up getting a second set of these or something. That'll wait a while, lolI also spent last night taking my camera apart to clean the lenses. Those were some of the tiniest screws I've ever had to deal with Quote Selected
I bit the bullet Reply #13 – May 21, 2009, 09:02:00 PM Tires are mounted. I will retest fit them tomorrow at lunch. Got about an inch more contact patch than my old hoosier's. BTW: dont let these wheelshiznit ANYTHING. Barely touched one agaist a curb while rolling them back out to the truck to take em home after being mounted, and it really dinged up a spoke :( I thought it just hit the outside edges Quote Selected
I bit the bullet Reply #14 – May 23, 2009, 07:09:38 PM Old autox tires compared to new ones(245/50/15's compared to 275/40/17's)And I can still get my fingers between the tire and the strut in the front. Its tight, but I can still get em in there Quote Selected
