I bit the bullet Reply #17 – May 24, 2009, 03:08:27 AM Bet you could make up a good chunk of what you spent on those rims selling the mesh rims. I really like the 10th anniversary Cobras. Like the anthracite over the chrome and the black (even though I am going black w/ polished lip eventually). Just something about those rims and that color that look so good everything else looks off to me. Still though the chrome looks a hell of a lot better than I thought they would. First time I have seen them on anything. Fit your car well. What is the weight on them though? I would think they would be a heavier wheel but if your getting more traction I guess it pays still.X3 on the Ranger, Looks like 2 wheels pics might be possible. Quote Selected
I bit the bullet Reply #18 – May 24, 2009, 02:44:52 PM The wheels weigh 26#'s. Definately not a forged aluminum wheel, lol. The american racing mesh wheels weighed a whole 14#'s. Arent the snowflakes 22#'s? So I dont think its all that bad. I didnt go with the black or anthricite because I didnt like where they broke the colors on them. Made them have virtually no lip whatsoever. I figured if I didnt like it, I could always paint them the way I wanted. I'm not sure If I want to get rid of the mesh rims. Dont remember what I paid for those, but I dont think it was enough to be worth messing with Quote Selected

It's not too often I prefer the look of a rim in chrome, but this is one exception and they do look better on a bird than a Pony... Quote Selected
