so anything new?  i spent the better part of this week reading through project evolution and now have read through this one,  i think i'm hooked.  you've done an amazing job on evolution and now on evolutionII.  i hope when i start on my bird i can do as good a job as you.  hopefully i can start on it later this year but i've got a lot to do between now and then.

nothing new on this one... it's parked under a tarp for the winter, and the seats will be getting recovered in about a week or so..
the 87 is still getting things done to it.. nothing much to share, but I hope to back it out of the garage in the next week or 2.

Leather?

They look nice. I had my fronts redone about 5 years ago (they were cracked from the california sun but the backs were fine :dunno:). It's a huge improvement when you sit in the car.

it's pleather.... the same stuff that was in the car originally. same grain and texture too.

Does the interior smell new? When I had my seats redone it smelled like a new car for a few months. Now it has that distinctive 80's Ford interior smell again. I can't describe it but my grandfather's 84 Escort and 86 Crown Victoria had the same smell.

I'm surprised you didn't get the Cougar emblem sewn into the headrests. That would be sweet. As they are, the seats still loom awesome.
