Reply #46 – March 20, 2009, 09:02:47 AM yeah unless someone who is selling doesnt know what they have, they arent cheap, i saw a guy trying to sell a sport with 125k on it for $1800, And my girls car was only $600. My car was $2500 7 years ago in mint shape, with 60k on it. Man i wish my parents took care of their cars........ i always seee an xr7 just like mine, and ive left notes on the guys window, but they never reply,..... next time ill just leave the site info!!!! Looks like the days are numbered for my gray bird... Reply #47 – March 20, 2009, 10:33:54 AM The reason they usually go so cheap is because people typically buy them to tear them down. To a Mustang guy, they're only worth the used parts they can pull from them before sping the rest. For those of us who want to keep them, they're worth a lot more. I'd pay $2k for that in a heartbeat, if I was looking to replace mine. Quote Selected

He'd sell you the shirt off your back and sell ice to an eskimo. Saw him try to sell a car with a giant bondo patch on the door for 8K! http://www.coyoteclassics.com Quote Selected
Looks like the days are numbered for my gray bird... Reply #52 – March 22, 2009, 05:33:08 PM I'll probably end up keeping most of my car that's worth salvaging when I tear it apart. Drivetrain is staying with me, fenders are good, doors are probably going on my tc cuz the bottoms on the tc are junk, interior is all custom done. Basically what I think will happen is anything good will go in to my tc which isn't in too bad shape, including the 5.0 drivetrain, and my tc drivetrain will probably get stuffed in a corner and shuffled in to a T or something. I wouldn't expect to never have another fox car, but I really want a 4 eye and would rather wait till I have my own garage and pay to get a nice one from another part of the country. Quote Selected
