which ler or catback system to get?

well I took a look at the stock ler and compared it with the cherry bomb and the cherry bomb is just slightly longer and the stock ler's in and outlet are on opposite sides (one leftside the other on the right)  so i figured either way im gonna have to have a shop do the welding and just bend me a new pipe.

so i guess that'll have to wait untill saturday and i get my tint tomorrow ^.^

I thought about putting cherry bombs or glasspacks on my car but my brothers truck has glasspacks & eventualy they got so loud they were anoying. I'm a true Flowmaster fan which has a lifetime warranty. I went  shorty headers into a H pipe into dual 50 series Flowmaster lers and the car sounds mean even from 75 feet away. I'd go with either Flowmaster or Borla & I'd have a lershop install them, that way you'll get a warranty. But if you bought them new & have them istalled it will cost you between $400 & $600. I have a Flowmaster 40 series ler off of my 05 Dodge Ram Hemi if you would like to buy it for $40. Just one 40 series is louder then two 50 series but there was to much cabin noise in the truck.

I bought it from them in 1998 & since then have installed American Racing wheels (still have factory mag wheels in boxes), ceramic coated headers into dual Flowmaster 50 series lers with single into dual stainless tips, 4 row radiator, B&M Transpak, converted to Mass Air with cold air intake, etc..

well i put the cherry bomb on, and had the shop weld it to the exhaust pipe and its not nearly as loud as i thought it would be.

I mean im happy but still in a way disapointed.
it has a nice deep hollow tone but its not exactly loud except for at high RPMs

Just get rid of your stock exhaust, i got shorty headers/hpipe/lers and intermediate pipes for around 160, its not all that expensive and sounds a lot better. If your not happy with your setup now, you should really think about that, its the best way to go

I bought the cheapest 2.5" Hpipe and catback from Summit.  I put on a set of used mustang headers.  Sounds like a racecar.  Maybe I can get some video later today.  Note. they don't appear to sell my catback set anymore.  The one I got was for an LX stang (straight pipes, no bend).

I would probably have an exhaust shop do it if I had to do it over.
