About the Book
On a beautiful spring evening a strangely colored walnut cracks open and two little emerald green eyes take their first peek at the big world. Named by the wind, Fiddlebug's adventures begin with a hungry tummy and a lot of questions about what he might be.  Finding the answers brings the little creature parents who love him, two best friends and more than enough fun to keep them all happy through the warm months.

About the Author
Brittney Cassity lives in West Virginia where she and her husband homeschool their two sons.  After years of writing for fun and family, she has decided to jump into the professional writing and illustrating waters by sending Fiddlebug, her favorite character, out into the world in print.

Free Preview
Once upon a time, when the world was younger (with not so many roads and a whole lot more trees) there was a fairy named Sophie who had allergies.  Daffodil pollen always made her sneeze so hard that her little fairy toes almost touched her tiny fairy nose and pixy dust flew through the  air like  a cloud of rainbow sparkles.

This story isn’t really  about this pretty  little fairy, but it’s all  about the adventures that happened because of one of her sneezes.

Doesn't look like a fiddlebug on the cover. Looks more like a dragon. That alone scores points in my book. Tell her I said Congrats and welcome to the club.;)

Hey everyone,, thanks for all the props for the wife.  I wasnt trying to sell it or anything,, i am just so happy for her.  she told me to tell people that she hasnt gotten her copy yet so if anyone beats her to it, if there are problems, she will take care of you.

her email is..

or call the phone on my diy link.

Actually, last night I talked to her while i was in Ft Wayne and asked if she can edit the intro to include alittle more of the beginning of the book.

Just so you guys know, fiddlebug was an orfan so to speak born from a tree who got adopted and had many different types of friends.

Thank you Eric, please let her know what you think.  The book is sort of addicting though, it was an on going bed time story for us boys over the past 3 years.  Brit would read us up to where she had written and it was almost like the show "LOST",,,,,,,when will there be more!!!

Finally,

Finally,

That's great! I've been wanting to do the same thing for Coira and Seamus. I even planned to name two of my kids after characters from a book I started writing when I was 14, but that was voted out by the Reeves family Parliament. :hick: Coira loves books, and dragons, and even more, books about dragons, so Santa might bring her a copy this Christmas. ;) It's funny, but Angela was trying to convince me to start writing for real, this morning. If I channelled the number of words I type online in a day into one place, I would probably have a novel written by the summer. :p

Tell the wife that I like what I see in that snippet. It naturally rolls off of the tongue when reading it out loud, and looks to be pretty quirky too. Something for the parents. (not so many roads and a lot more trees)

Congratulations Brittney.
