Well, now, I do believe I've just about seen everything. A back-halved FWD shiznitcan with a dummy rear axle. Bet dragging those 15-inch-wide tires around does wonders for trap speed and E/T. Good job he's got those wheelie bars on there...

Actually, somebody did that years ago with a Tempo (that was still FWD). Guy took it on the power tour like every year. I never really got it, but whatever.

Oh, and- I really have to wonder if an old dude owns that 350Z? I've noticed that old guys seem to have an affinity for any stick on/bolt on parts they can buy out of catalogs. Not sure why though.

i remember that tempo! it was yellow and purple right?

it would have been cool with a 351 or something stuff the right way and not front wheel drive, but oh well.

and as for 350 z's these are just lame, i'd love to burn that rice with my bird.

350Z's are awesome. 305 horse from a n/a 3.5L V6. As a T-bird owner, you should know that's impressive, for a V6. How much horsepower does the average 3.8L make? 7?

I know what you mean with the old guys, red LX. Any older man with a shiny pickup and a few pension dollars to burn will buy anything that needs no more than wood screws or 3M to apply.

Tubbed rear, big fat rear D/R's, skinny's on the front, parachute, wheelie bars. From the right angle, those are redeeming qualities.

....... yeah, that's kind of the point of posting it.

'That' Z is rice. Z's in and of themselves are the farthest thing from rice. They're sports cars and  good ones, with the best V6 money can buy today.

Am I a moron, or is it just everyone else? I have a feeling it's going to be one of those days.

Z's are for single over the hill idiots that think they are still cool.  we have an older guy in town with one that drives around like he is Mark Martin, triing to look cool.

as for the best rice?  that aint it...  try the Supra, or the Skyline.... you could order the skyline with a 1000Hp straight 6!

I personally know plenty of 20 somethings who drive 300ZX's and 350Z's. The car looks good and goes like stink.

Wait. Are you one of those people that thinks anything Asian is Rice? Stock Z's can't be rice... they're stock. Performance tuned Z's aren't either, unless the owner also has a horrible sense of style and ruins the looks.

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=rice

rice

Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancements. (R.I.C.E.)Parts put on cars to make them look fast, when they have no internal tuning, and are actually slow as hell. Parts usually consist of excessivley angular bodykits, large rear spoilers, neon, sponsor stickers, chrome rims, fake "coffee can" exhaust tips, and loud, annoying paint jobs and/or vynils. Sometimes parts are do-it-yourself installed and are basically duct taped to the car. Most commonly known for being done to Honda Civics, but can also be done to slow domestic vehicles, such as a Chevy Cavalier, etc.
"Yo dog, did you see the Civic that guy was rollin' in? it was so rice."

"This guy's got nothin' under the hood, it's just rice. Smoke him."

"What a riceboy, I bet he thinks his neon adds 50 bhp!"

So these two cars are as definitive of rice as Carpimp's original ride.:mullet:
