Just found a new boneyard to check out....

I called the yard, and they said they had two '87/'88 Turbo Coupes, and a bunch of late '80's Birds.I'm going to check them out after lunch.he said he had one TC rear he'd let me have for $150.00.I may buy it.I don't know what the cars have to offer, but he said the TC's were in running condition, but one of them he wants the drivetrain from to install in a Stang. It's worth a look.I'll be leaving around noon I guess.

IF they have any 80-82's, see if they have any good control stalks (wipers/turns).  The chrome on mine is bad/flaking off.  The wipers have the adjustable intermittent feature.
Also, there are a couple buttons on the center console for the interior lights.  I could use a couple of them.  One of the attaching tabs is broken off one of mine, and thus the button does not stay put.

I'll check for those parts.I'll also take the camara and grab a couple of shots. As far as them coming here to die.....possibly.Like the old elephant grave yard I think.I've been lucky. The guy said he'd rather me bring my tools and pull parts myself so I don't interfere with their work. Not a problem !!! I may end up being disappointed.I hope not.I'm kind of cheap, and don't like spending a forune for somple parts.I'd like to find some hard to find bits and pieces.I'll have an update later this afternoon.Hopefully by 3:00 or so.I'm leaving at noon.

O.K.,I'm back.I'm a little happy, and also disappointed at the same time.I did get the 3.55 rear from a TC.It was $120.00.He also threw in the rear springs and fog lights with brackets. The lights are in great shape.Bad side, there were only two T-Birds (fox) there. Both were TC's.One auto, one 5 speed. Both white. One with red interior (trashed),one with blue. Not bad actually. It took the guys FOREVER to drag the Bird out so i could get the rear.It was missing the brakes.Oh well,I'm using my drum brakes anyway. The only other birds there were late 60's.He did have a BUNCH of Rancheros, one gold Mark VII (no engine or computer),but it did have those deep mesh wheels.Sharp !!.There was a '68 El-Camino,2 javelins,no Crown Vics with the parts Mike, sorry. No early '80's Birds either. There is one in the next yard that I'm going to Chuck.Anyway,at least i got the rear.

By the way,the other car has a 3.73 rear. The yard is halfway between Davis and Sulpher Oklahoma.I don't know what highway that is.If you are ever around,I'll try to hook you up.There's also a TC or two In Durant Oklahoma.he says he'll sell the rear for $200.00 if you pull it yourself (they'll raise the car for you).

Thanks, if I'm over there for anything I'll make a point to stop by there.

FYI, there's an 80-82 Thunderbird that's at R&S in Moffett, OK. IIRC it was a 302 car, it at least had a 255. There's also a 83-84 TC in there too. Both of those cars were pretty complete last time I was there which was December.

Vinnie, if possible, could you find out what year the Mark VII was? Im looking for some parts from a 91-92.
It's Gumby's fault.

I believe there was a Super Coupe. The Mark was a '91 or '92.The body was great.Like I said,it even had the deep mesh wheels (polished lip,gun metal kind of colored middle). They even had the center caps on them. The interior wasn't tru;y mint, but it had a sunroof, and was missing mostly the computer and drivetrain.
